Between apple pies, apple turn-overs, candy apples, apple sauce, apple cider, apple butter, apple jelly, and apple juice, it seems like the options for apples are endless. Since the fruit has a fairly mild flavor most of the time, it is easily paired with most anything.
Let’s be honest there, though. We’re all thinking about apple desserts. I actually found a really cool recipe for “apple brownies” from Martha Stewart that I wanted to share. I had never really heard of making apple brownies before, and the recipe seems very unique. Unexpectedly, the recipe contains no chocolate, so it’s more like an apple blondie if you ask me.
